In 2022, Woodville ISD passed a bond for a new school building and additions/renovations to their existing campus. We look forward to see the completion of the project expected to finish in 2024

LUFKIN ISD

In 2019, Lufkin ISD passed a $75 Million Dollar bond project. GLS has strong roots with the school district. Both architects on this project are graduates from Lufkin and are happily designing/managing for the duration. Divided into 3 projects, we cant wait to see the end result.

  • Multipurpose Facility - 65,300 sq. Ft. - 1800 seat competition arena - 135 seat Aux. Gym

  • Sports Field Complex - Turf Baseball & Softball Fields - baseball and softball batting practice facilities - 2 new tennis courts - Locker Room/training facility with meeting rooms and coaches office

ALTO ISD

In April 2019, Alto ISD was struck by several tornadoes that left their facility crippled. After temporary classrooms were provided, GLS began the process of bond planning for a new school building that included both a new band hall and new gymnasium. 

  • 28,400 SF High School​

    • 13 Classrooms - 2 Science Labs - 4 Offices -Secure Entryway - Teacher Workroom - Restrooms​

  • 7,000 SF Band Hall Renovations​

    • Records Room - Practice Room - Ensemble Room - Instrument Storage Room - Restrooms - Storage​

  • 23,600 SF Gym​

    • 1016 Fixed Seats - 12 ADA Seating Spaces - Girls and Boys Locker Room - Visitors Locker Room - New Concession Stand Accessible both inside the gym and from Football Stadium - Restrooms

NAVASOTA ISD

In 2017, Navasota ISD passed a $55 Million bond to update, renovate and revitalize their entire district. Divided in 6 phases, this project hosts a very large scope: 

  • Phase 1 - NELC modified for campus security, Headstart programs, computerized learning center (Completed)

  • Phase 2 - High School Renovations and CATE Addition - Includes updated blackbox theater, ISS room, science labs, cosmetology lab, culinary arts lab, engineering labs, AV classrooms with studio - HS Vo-Tech - Renovated industrial, vet-med classrooms, welding and floriculture.  (Completed)

  • Phase 3 -  High Point Elem. - Security Updates/New Entry - 10 additional classrooms, additional life skills rooms (Under Construction) Brule Elem. - Security Updates, renovation of cafeteria and kitchen, new classroom wing and breakout areas (Under Construction)

  • Phase 4 - Rock Gym - Original District Basketball Gym from 1920s-30s - Renovation and addition of public restrooms, full renovations of interior, exterior construction to match original building style (under construction) - New Ag Facility Animal Housing  (Under Construction)

  • Phase 5 - Brosig Auditorium  - Renovation to include dressing rooms, larger stage, prop workshop and storage, ADA update

  • Phase 6 -  Renovation and update of Football, Baseball and Softball fields - Additional Tennis Complex 8 Courts (Completed)

Completed in 2017, Madisonville CISD wanted to revitalize their auditorium , reface their school, create some new facilities and new opportunities for their students.

Normangee

isd

Completed in 2019, Normangee ISD passed a $12 million dollar bond to update their campus and stadium. Some of the project highlights:

  • Stadium improvements - New Home stands, new pressbox, new track, new track events

  • New 12,600 sq. ft. secure entry and media center

  • Connection building for elementary, middle and high school

  • New Auditorium - 11,500 sq. ft.

  • Renovation of old auditorium into new band hall

  • New 10,000 sq. ft. High school addition

  • Renovation of Admin offices
