Construction Update: Kerens ISD CMAR Bond Improvements Project
Phase I of the Kerens ISD CMAR Bond Improvements Project was recently
completed while Phase II is expected to be completed by the end of 2020. A new high school was built (pictured above) along with a new fieldhouse and kitchen for the existing cafetorium.
Other improvements made to the campus during the first phase included:
- a home side entrance / concession / field
- replacement of the existing track
- remodel of the ag building
- remodel of the middle school gym
- remodel of the junior high locker room
The second and final phase of the Kerens ISD 2018 CMAR Bond Improvements Project is currently under construction. Upon completion of Phase II there will be a new addition to the elementary school as well as a remodeled elementary school wing in the current high school.
